This is a picture of Michael Jordan and his father, James Jordan, when Michael won the first NBA championship game. He won total of 6 NBA championship games and 5 all-star NBA MVP awards, but this picture shows that even a super star like MJ goes through countless hardships and sufferings. This picture also shows how his father was always there for him when MJ really needed some support. Michael Jordan is a representative figure in the field of basketball and he is considered as one of the top three basketball players who ever set a foot on Earth. This picture was very inspiring and freshly shocking because I could see a human-like side of Michael Jordan, who I picked as my role model in the field of sports.

It’s my outline

My topic of the term paper is how Michael Jordan contributed in changing the world of basketball. Before his time, the game of basketball was played strictly according to conventional rules and fundamental tactics. Michael Jordan was the one, who changed not only the game of basketball itself,  but also the way people perceived the game. Michael Jordan was as much a great person as he was a great player. After finishing up his career as a basketball player, he helped people, who needed some support in order to find hope and passion in their lives, by assisting them in a search of something that they could really enjoy and love doing. He also made lots of donations, building community sports centers and arranging free basketball camps for children. Michael Jordan was not a perfect human being and he had his own hardships and sufferings in his life just like any of us would. However, I found it very admiring and respectable of him to achieve his dream so successfully despite many hardships and obstacles, which barricaded his path.
